1)       Buy a car for less than £100.( yes we know that’s ridiculous, however rules are rules)

2)       Prepare the car for the challenge, no more than £15 max. ( yes we know that’s ridiculous, however rules are rules)

3)       Get a team mate, max 2 people per car.

4)       Drive from Plymouth in the UK all the way down to Bamako in Mali, an estimated 3500miles through some of the worlds toughest terrains.

5)       All teams are ‘’on their own’’ and there will be no back-up/support vehicles, get stuck and you have real problems. No corner shops in the middle of the Sahara Desert.

6)       Get your car to the finish line in Bamako, the Capital of Mali, and you did it ‘’done and dusted’’ 

7)       All cars that made the finish line in Bamako will be auctioned of with proceeds going to predetermined local charities.

8)       Fly out of Bamako to wherever you feel the need to go to.

9)       Rules are made to be broken and can be changed and amended at any stage and without notice.
